This allows the robot to navigate obstacles, and this technology could lead to a new generation of crash-avoidance systems in their cars, helping to make roads safer. Technology will in the next model year Nissan, for sure, but it is encouraging to see stepped up efforts for fatalities caused by negligence and human error reduction.
