Sony Rolly MP3 Player Technology

Sony has announced what could be the world's most bonkers MP3 player. Sony Rolly (SEP-10BT or give her less formal-inspired name) in the form of an egg, and you control its functions, either turning or rolling.

Even more impressive, the Rolly actually dance to the rhythm of the music, spinning and open the door to the side to beat.

While clearly the market as part of a toy MP3 player, Rolly is actually very well equipped, offers a 1GB flash memory, USB, Bluetooth and support for MP3 and ATRAC audio formats.

Better yet, users can download music and dance moves packages in a strange egg-like device, so you never get bored with the same movement. Users can also create their own dance moves to the PC and sends them to the Rolly via Bluetooth.

Today Rolly set only for Japan, but Sony is considering selling in other markets. Personally I think it should - in fact I think it's a no-brainer, for it is by far the most innovative, what happened in the MP3 market for a long time, and it's great to see Sony finally back store with some really innovative gadgets. It makes even the iPod touch look outdated!

Sony Rolly will go on sale in Japan costs $ 354.
